Okay, so I have this fascination with the Grim Reaper and recently I have gotten into Edgar Allan Poe's work. I can't even remember what story I read of his that inspired this...all I know is that after I had read some I don't know how many of his stories I decided to draw one of my favorite charaters. I know this may sound emo but I had been thinking about death finds people at all ages and times so I decided to draw a very innocent looking child who has obviously died being led by Mr. Grin Reaper there to her final destination. I suppose you can say that I wanted to show that not only the old die but also the very young and innocent as well.
